Classes and group sessions – in-person and live-streamed by Zoom
In-person classes are in the beautiful, light and spacious upstairs room at Friends’ Meeting House, overlooking the trees. They are simultaneously live-streamed by Zoom (camera on me not those in class). Monday CancerCare class and Weds 6pm class are Zoom only.
The teaching approach is gentle and I hope to share the depth and fullness of yoga in a straightforward way. See About Sue and Recommendations
Beginners are welcome in all classes. Those with experience will be supported to develop and deepen their yoga practice. Class size is limited (max. 15 people). Individual health issues and needs are taken into consideration and choices and guidance offered so that each person can find their own way to enjoy and benefit from yoga. There’s a little time at the start and end of most classes for questions and individual help – and you are welcome to get in touch to talk about yoga. Or you could book a 1-to-1 – see 1-to-1 and Private Sessions
Classes run during term-time. Spring term starts 8th Jan 2024

Cancellation and Refunds
For cancellation of Zoom sessions up to 48 hours before start date, you may have a full refund less £10 admin fee. Within 48 hours of start date, you may have a refund of 75% of the value of the remaining sessions less £10 admin fee. For cancellation of in-person sessions up to 48 hours before start date, you may have a full refund less £20 admin fee. Sorry no refunds within 48 hours of start date – that’s because it’s likely I turned away other bookings which are difficult to regain later. Alternatively, you may change to another class in the same time period that has space OR give your booked place to a friend. If you have booked a series of classes and will miss one or more classes, you may make it up with any other class I offer that has space any time during the series or give your place in the missed session to a friend. If I need to cancel any sessions, I will replace or refund.
What you’ll need, using Zoom etc.
If possible, please bring your own yoga mat, blanket(s)/throw(s), yoga belt/tie/scarf and anything else you may need (such as cushion, drink). Yoga blocks are freely available for you to borrow. There are also some mats & throws available to borrow if you wish. You will need similar equipment if joining by Zoom at home. I’ll give you more information on enquiry/booking. Zoom software is free of charge and generally easy to use on computer, tablet or phone. We have been amazed how well we have been able to practise together in this way. When you book a class, I will send you a link to access the session and some guidance for setting up your space at home. You may choose to turn your camera off sometimes or arrange your space so that you are not always visible – I just need to know that it’s you and that you can practise safely.
