Classes

These yoga classes are suitable for all physical abilities and levels of experience.  Beginners welcome.  Those with experience have the opportunity to deepen their practice. Sue has a gentle approach and expertise in including a range of needs within a class, offering options and guidance so that each person can find their own way to enjoy and benefit from yoga.  See About Sue and Recommendations

At Friends’ Meeting House, we have a light, peaceful upstairs room, with view of trees.  The beautiful Halton venue is by the river and has under-heated wooden floor.  Classes are maximum 14 people, friendly and welcoming.

You may come along to any class but some get full – please check dates and availability below.  For those who book a half-term block (6 or 7 weeks this time), there is a 25% discount, guaranteed place and, if you have to miss a session you can give that place to a friend or replace it with any other class that has space.  Please arrive a little early as classes will start on time and it’s nice to have a smooth beginning.  Mats etc. provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Revitalising lunch-break
Gently energising movement, breath, short guided relaxation.
Suitable for all levels of experience and physical ability. Beginners welcome

‘Unwind the Body, Still the Mind’
Fairly gentle movement, deep stretches and restorative postures.  Breath.  Meditation (about 10 minutes)
This class is slightly faster pace than the 7.30pm class, with more active and standing postures and shorter meditation.
Suitable for all levels of experience and physical ability. Beginners welcome.
Drop-in £7.50 per session (if not fully booked).  £39 for 7 week block.

Gentle movement, deep stretches and restorative postures.  Breath.  Meditation (15-20 mins)
This class is slightly slower pace than the 6pm class, with more sitting and lying postures and longer meditation.
Suitable for all levels of experience and physical ability. Beginners welcome.
Drop-in £8 per session (if not fully booked). £42 for 7 week block.

Slow, gentle Yoga for Health and Wellbeing
Very slow, gentle movement and restorative postures with space to rest.   Breath.  Long guided relaxation/meditation (about 20 mins)
This class has a focus mainly on sitting and lying postures with a short standing sequence and some more active options.
Designed particularly for people managing/recovering from illness and those interested in the subtle aspects of yoga practice. Beginners welcome.

Booking and Cancellation
To book, please email/text/call.  To confirm your booking, please send payment (details by email).  Refund: 50% up to 7 days before start date – or full transfer to another session that block that has space.  Sorry, no refund for cancellation within 7 days of start date as other bookings may have been turned away but you may give your place to a friend.  You may also give any missed sessions to a friend or replace your missed session with any other class that block that has space.
